Quality, Reputation, Passion

Not just a slogan…these are words we live by…

Green Grass Lawn Care was started in 1991 by me, Erik Sweetser. I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Plant Biology from the University of New Hampshire in 1989. I have been in the landscaping, lawn care, and tree care field for over 26 years. I am currently licensed to apply and handle control products in New Hampshire and Massachusetts at the Master Level. I currently perform all of the company’s control product applications and oversee all construction and maintenance activities; you will not find a more highly qualified individual or company to care your property.

Three beliefs that are important to us:

Quality is important. We simply won’t do work that isn’t of high quality. Quality means we build your project to the highest industry standards and beyond so that your wall won’t fall over 10 years down the road. Quality in lawn care and tree care means that we use the best products available to us at the proper rate and proper time. We don’t skimp on materials. If you want cheap lawn care I can give you a whole yellow page book that has cheap, low quality lawn care available. Quality means we attend seminars and lectures to stay up on current techniques and products so that we can offer you the very best in lawn care and landscape care.

Reputation is important. I have been in this industry for over 26 years. I have been a mentor to many new landscapers and lawn professionals. I have given lectures to Chambers of Commerce and gardening groups. I have reviewed new products for manufacturers. I am highly thought of in this industry because I refuse to do substandard work. I am one of the highest regarded professionals in this industry and have been for the better part of my life. One of my associates calls me the Yoda of lawn care. Not because I lack height but because I am all knowing in my field.

Passion is most important. I am passionate about my lawn and landscape and even more passionate about giving you a top quality lawn and landscape. I look at a lawn or landscape and think about how I can improve it. The pictures below are of my lawn. I have Dover, New Hampshire’s only 1 hole golf course, 72 yards from the T-box to the green. I spend hundreds of dollars per year on annuals and perennials for the beds. Countless hours after work making sure my landscape is one of the best in the area. Can you imagine how good I can make your property look if given the chance?
