The past few springs have seen the rain stop and drought conditions begin in late May, right during the spring grub control round. In order to be effective, the standard grub treatment we have been using requires a lot of watering-in. As dry springs seem to be a trend, we have decided to switch grub control products.
We will now be using Acelepryn grub control and it will be applied with the first application. An early spring application will allow for better control of grubs in all of the lawns.
The other upside is that it doesn’t have to be watered in right away. You have a 25-day window to water the product in and by that time, it will have already rained within the required window. Acelepryn is slightly more expensive – but we are confident that the benefits far outweigh the added cost. If you have any questions about the product please feel free to ask!
